For school districts and underserved communities, getting to a clinic can be the hardest part of getting care. SIHF Healthcare wanted to reverse that, bringing services directly to the people who need them in Illinois. Craftsmen Industries transformed a coach into a mobile healthcare environment with exam rooms, diagnostic equipment, fitted workstations and a branded exterior.

The SIHF healthcare coach serves school districts and underserved areas in Illinois. The SIHF coach includes exam rooms, diagnostic equipment and workstations.
Craftsmen Industries designed the SIHF coach for Illinois community visits.
The brief called for a coach serving school districts and other underserved areas in Illinois. The concept transformed the vehicle into a mobile healthcare setting equipped with exam rooms and diagnostic equipment, supported by workspaces and storage.
Craftsmen Industries fitted the SIHF coach with an enclosed exam room.
The exam room includes an upholstered powered examination table with an extended step and a beam scale. Wall-mounted diagnostic equipment includes a blood-pressure gauge and cuff alongside handled instruments. White wall panels and an enclosed arrangement make it a defined clinical space inside the coach.
Craftsmen Industries built fitted desks, sinks and cabinetry into the SIHF coach.
The coach includes fitted desks with dark countertops, pull-out keyboard drawers, overhead cabinets and black rolling stools. A workstation includes a wall-mounted screen, while the adjoining counter has a sink and further storage. Along the central corridor, more cabinetry and under-counter units continue the fit-out.
Care involves paperwork, records and consultation as well as exams. Placing desks and a consultation area alongside the exam room lets staff handle both without leaving the vehicle.
Craftsmen Industries finished the SIHF coach with white and orange exterior graphics.
White and orange graphics carry the SIHF Healthcare identity across the coach body, so schools and communities recognize the program when it arrives.

The completed vehicle brings exam rooms, diagnostic equipment and supporting workstations together within a SIHF-branded coach. The conversion gives SIHF Healthcare a mobile setting for the communities named in its brief. Craftsmen's mobile healthcare work also includes multi-trailer clinic programs and an expandable mobile laboratory.
Craftsmen Industries builds mobile clinics, healthcare coaches and laboratories on trailers, coaches and containers.
Each healthcare build starts with the services a provider needs to deliver and the communities it wants to reach, then shapes rooms, cabinetry, equipment and graphics around that brief. Because design, fabrication and graphics happen in-house, the clinical interior and the exterior identity are developed together rather than handed between separate vendors.
Craftsmen Industries brings more than 40 years of fabrication experience to mobile healthcare and laboratory environments. Design, engineering, fabrication and graphics are handled in-house at a 127,000 sq. ft. facility in St. Charles, Missouri, staffed by more than 225 skilled craftspeople and certified to AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015. For SIHF Healthcare, Craftsmen Industries delivered a mobile healthcare coach that takes exam rooms and diagnostics to the communities SIHF serves.
