Mix the beeswax, primrose oil and coconut oil in a separate container and heat slowly. While stirring, add water to the mixture. After the mixture gets softer, put in the lemon and lavender oil. Stir the mixture until it gets even and store in a tightly covered container. Rub this blend on the areas affected.

Recipe 2

  • 3 drops of lavender oil
  • 3 drops of sandalwood oil
  • 3 drops of frankincense oil
  • 6 teaspoonful of carrier oil (sesame oil)

Mix the ingredients together and store in an airtight bottle, away from sunlight.

Recipe 3 – Homemade Stretch Mark Cream

  • 3 ounces of unrefined coconut oil
  • ¾ ounce of unrefined cocoa butter
  • ¾ ounce of unrefined shea butter
  • 3 tablespoons of sweet almond oil
  • 6 tablespoons of water
  • 2 teaspoons of vitamin E oil
  • 20 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 20 drops of cypress essential oil
  • 10 drops of grapefruit essential oil
  • 10 drops of helichrysum essential oil

Method: First, thaw out the coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and almond oil with low heat using a small saucepan. When the mixture gets smooth, add water and stir together. Remove the heat source, and continue stirring the mixture until it cools down to room temperature. Then add vitamin E, lavender, cypress, grapefruit, and helichrysum oils to the mixture. Continue stirring until it totally blends, then stores in a glass container, away from light.

While essential oils are good for stretch marks, you should use sparingly and with caution. Unless you are sure you don’t have sensitive skin (with a skin patch test), don’t apply on your skin without first diluting with a carrier oil.
